Here you can see the photoreprtage from Gallery Nights organized by Copenhagen Art Week. Gallery Night marks the opening of Copenhagen Art Week with late night openings in old, new, and upcoming galleries and art spaces in the old city centre. The first gallery night took place on, Friday, the 23rd of August, shining a spotlight on an art scene brimming with curiosity and enterprise.


LARM GALLERY.  LARMgallery are introducing the first solo exhibition by the Belgian artist Stephan Balleux (b. 1974). Balleux is presenting a selection of new paintings, drawings, and sculptures which deal with issues such as identity, transformation, and space


GALERIE MIKAEL ANDERSEN presents the solo exhibition"Whoever has most things when we die wins"  by Erik A. Frandsen (Denmark). Exhibition includes painting, sculpture, mosaic, and concrete work, among other things a Ferrari covered with fabrics from China



MARTIN ASBÆK GALLERY in its "Summer in the City"  exhibition presents new works by their Danish artists. Among others Astrid Kruse Jensen ("Within The Landscape", 2013)

GALLERY SUSANNE OTTESEN. Exhibition of Martin Erik Andersen (Denmark) contains a 9 tons heavy ornamental concrete floor placed on top of the gallery floor, an installation with lights, and an exhibition with other artists. The exhibition is about shared preconditions and the sometimes short route from gold to trash
