Hele
Hele was born in Riga. She currently lives and works in both Riga and Tallinn, Estonia. She graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia in 2017. In 2016 she studied visual arts in Barcelona, at Escola Massana Centre d’Art i Disseny. She has participated in group and solo exhibitions in Europe and the USA. Her solo exhibitions include: North 001 (2018) at Tallinas iela 6, Riga; POEM°N (2019) at Akron Gallery in Trondheim, Norway; I Will Meet You At The River (2020) at Valga Chapel in Estonia; 127 gadi mūžības (127 Years of Eternity) (2020) at TJZK, Riga; and In Flux (2022) at M/Gallery, Riga. In 2021 Hele curated a group exhibition at the PAiR contemporary art gallery. In 2022 Hele participated in the group exhibition Utopias at the Riga Photography Biennial, which included two of her projects: 127 Years of Eternity (2020) and 299 912 km/s (2022).
